T’was great to meet y’all at the Hideaway Saloon! I’ve been enjoying your album and shared it with my cousins in Klosterneuburg. Hope you find your way back to Kentucky.
Tommy, Du warst fantastisch!
Hallo Uli! Alles Liebe, Tommy.
Hello. My friend Ben Skiadis (owns the Famous Bistro in Owensboro, Kentucky) mentioned that you may be looking for a female vocalist. If you still are, I happen to also live in Austin. I was originally trained gospel, then some classical, and now I write more pop/folksy stuff. You can give my music on bandcamp a listen, but it’s mostly songwriting stuff so nothing that really shows off what my voice can do. Let me know if you’re interested….cheers!
By the way, come to my gig, Oct. 19th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel 8pm-12midnight on 290E & IH35.
See website for details http://www.nasaru.org. Come be my guest and jam a couple of songs with me.
Hey Ulrich, I am good friends with Michelle and I live in Chicago and am also a gigging musician. Anyway, I wanted to try and help you guys out by shooting you some ideas on where to try booking if you haven’t already tried them. Now, I’m not sure how big of a show yall are bringing so these are a variety of venues…
1) The Abbey Pub http://www.abbeypub.com/about-us/contact-us/.
2) Alive one http://aliveone.com/chicago/contact/.
3) The Grace Street Tap.
4) Uncommon Ground (they do mostly acoustic shows if that’s possible for you… It’s a GREAT GIG!)
I also know some places I could throw your way that are in the suburbs of Chicago, all paid gigs, and great venues. now, that being said a lot of these places book well in advance… so I wish you guys luck! Chicago is a great town to gig in, they have a sense of worth for live music. And I’m going to check my calendar with my husband and see if we would be able to put you up for the day/s you’re in town if you need.
ROCK N ROLL!
Hi Ulrich, Last time you have been to Graz I didn’t get a chance to hear you, so I have to stick to CDs or downloads.
I just voted for you and the Tribe.
Just watched you guys, and gals at the Iron Horse Pub in Wichita Falls Texas and loved it!!!! I can’t wait for ya’ll to come back.
James Cook and the Audacity.
beautiful Gig in REIGEN 23.04.2012
All the best for the future.
Would be nice to meet you for the contact to Don Bell – guitars. I think it would match perfectly to you.
through the story and interview in planet.tt I got notice about you coming to Vienna very soon and I want to contact you because there is a parallel connection from you and I have to Texas.
Two years ago I must say it happend that I have learned a very good new friend there in Venus Texas who is building and repairing guitars. BELL GUITARS. It is a wish to help this guy to promote his guitars, because he is really magic in his profession.
I have a 1958 – 335 Gibson which had a broken neck and I got his name from the guitar player of John Mayall when they were for a concert in Vienna. Since I heard that Don worked also on a old guitar of Eric Clapton I thought he is the right one to trust in for repairing.
He repaired the neck in such a perfect way, I first could not believe.
It would be a great honor for me to give you this contact, and would be nice to meet you for a short talk during your stay in Vienna and coming to your concert.
As I learned from the story in planet.tt you are supported from Suhr in California, but believe me it is worth to check Don´s guitars, he is magic.
If we can meet in Vienna, I can bring my old Gibson with me for your reference. You will be impressed.
All the best, and hope to see you soon,
